What’s New?
Please check this page for regular updates on club activities and events. As well as updates to the site.
It has been a very slow month here on the site, although we have had regular visitors to the site, (around 300 to 450 visits per month, in fact - Making us one of the most visited club sites in the UK) nothing much has happened in the back office.
We have finally been listed on the Google search engine so if you type in Benjafield’s Racing Club you will get a link directly to this site, we currently rank at number 1 not a bad start for our first months listings. Click here for and example.
Prince Michael’s new web site is up and running, we have added a link to it on our links page. We are also listed on his site under the Charities section, sub section motoring and transport. Click here to have a look.
The History of the Club section has been updated and amended after careful research by Robert Benjafield. Many thanks to him for spending the time doing the leg work and also for structuring the amendments in such an easy to edit fashion which made them quick as well as easy to update. His handy work can now be seen on the Sammy Davis page as well as on the Title page. Click here to have a look.
The Chairman has been out and about, he was last seen strapped in to a very early motorcar on the London to Brighton veteran car rally, after which his 3 Litre must seem very modern !!
Other than that a few little technical things have been done to make the site easier to use. One of which is the new ‘Go To The Top’ buttons, which mean on very long pages you do not have to spend an age scrolling back up to the top of the page to get to the navigation bars as this is all now done by the power of technology! They look like this.
If you click on this one it will bounce you back up to the top of the page, by way of example, hopefully this should save stressing your digits when browsing!
On a personal note, I have invested in Lucid.net’s new web editor which will allow great expansion of this site and also allow a redesigned club shop to go online very shortly. I have set up my own site which is now up and running. You can visit it by clicking here.
